CLIENT TESTIMONIAL "Throughout the process of building my home you were invaluable as a sounding board" BECKY B, Byron Bay
Sometimes some "fresh eyes" is all you need . Decisions may need to be made, but you can't see the wood for the trees,. Even something as simple as rearranging the layout of the furniture within an existing room can go a long way to making a space feel more integrated and supportive.
Designing an interior that wears well for a long time to come is found in the balance between functionality, colour, light and proportion. The most important factor however, is whether these elements create a sense of well being for the individuals who occupy the space .Decisions around optimal layout, finishes, fixtures or lighting selections can be a time consuming task especially if a complete refurbishment or completely new build is being done. Decisions are so numerous that it can become overwhelming. Getting a consultant to help with planning, finishes (tiles, timber etc.) fittings (handles etc.) fixtures (bench tops, sinks, taps, lights etc)and colour also has the advantage of getting a cohesive style happening throughout the space.
The goal of a Living Balance Designs consultation is to help with easing or clarifying some of these multiple decisions, no matter how small. A consult can assist you with different requirements at different stages of the design process Essential to this consultation no matter what stage it's at, is there's clear communication with the clients and/or tradesmen.

Second stage - Design Proposal which might involve a preliminary Concept or Mood board ( a visual tool to clarify between Lizzie and client that brief is on track colour or style wise). Or this stage may involve layout or elevations depending on nature of design brief . This stage may require further modification or reworking until client is happy to approve the next stage. Lizzie will not proceed to specifying/sourcing products/materials until the client is happy with the proposed concept, layout etc
Third stage - Sourcing or specifying products or finishes for the brief within the budget. Communication is essential between Lizzie and client to ensure the clients understand selections made .
